No crafting- just Reina's Mom news

I guess this is one of those days when I can post about what else is going on in my life other than crafting.
I picked my sweet angel up from daycare yesterday and shortly after we got home she was running a fever.  We've been through the up and down temp all night and poor kid was just laying around with rosy cheeks  looking miserable.  These are the days when being a Mommy breaks your heart because you can't make them all better.  But at least it's good cuddling time.  It makes for some good "I want my Mommy" time.  Hopefully today we can kick this nasty fever and get her feeling back to normal- or as her Daddy said this morning on Facebook "Just love the merry-go-round fever, is it up or is it down... just want my daughter back to the sweet annoying self she is.."

I hope everyone has a great day.  Happy crafting!

Reina's new door

Got a little tired of  looking at the Paper Doll Dress Up themed door that I made for Reina when I first got the PDDU cart.  So I got a little creative and redesigned her bedroom door!
Used files from My Grafico .  I used a mixture of files from BabystarDesign- the Fairy SilhouettesChildren Silhouettes 2, and Children Silhouettes.

Thanks for stopping by.  Happy crafting!

Made some new goodies!

Can ya tell that I am like completely addicted to the Treasure Box Designs bottle caps and scrabble tiles?  I am LOVING these things and all that you can create with them!  The top two pictures are hair clips that I made using the scrabble tiles.  With some trimming they fit well and look great!  The last picture- I FINALLY found myself some bottle caps to use with these cute little creations!  I tried out my Crop-A-Dile with the bottle caps and was shocked at how easily it punched a hole in the bottle cap- then creating a cute little necklace was a piece of cake from there!

Thanks for stopping by my blog to check out my new creations!  Happy crafting!

F.Y.I. for my crafting friends!

Just a little F.Y.I. for those like me who love the Treasure Box Designs Bottle Cap designs.  They have bottle caps at Hobby Lobby- even some cool zebra printed ones and some antiqued looking ones.  And a little more F.Y.I. - the Crop A Dial DOES work to punch a hole in the metal bottle cap!

Ok.  Just had to share the info!  HAPPY CRAFTING!

Another Made It Myself Mondays post!

Got this idea from Fave Crafts and thought it was so cute I had to try it out.  Eyeball glasses!  My daughter wouldn't model them for me at first so I had to model it myself  but then she got upset that I was getting all the camera time so she finally agreed.  Here are both models!

I hope everyone has a great Monday!  Happy Crafting!

Made It Myself Monday #5

Good morning!  Happy Monday!  I have two goodies to share today so bring on the linking party!

The first is a book of numbers I made over the weekend to help my little 5 year old daughter recognize her numbers before she starts school this fall.  She does good with most of them but has a little trouble with a few so this book is helping her.  The book is made with the help of pockets from My Scrap Chick and Bottle Caps from Treasure Box Designs.

Couldn't wait until Monday!

Happy Saturday, my friends!!!  What's everyone up to this weekend?  As for me- doing a lot of cleaning, doing some crafting, and enjoying some relaxation with the crafting!

I started this blog to participate in the Made It Myself Mondays linking party created by Alex at Youhadmeatcraft.  But I am in a crafty mood and can't wait until Monday to share some stuff with you guys.  These are older creations but I will be posting my newest creation soon.  Enjoy- and thanks so much for being my follwers!

This is my Reina with a purse made for her out of plastic canvas.

Reina and I made this for Grandpa Doug for Christmas.

Dream catchers made from plastic canvas.

Made these for a friend's little one's birthday party.  Used the Pooh & Friends cartridge from Cricut.

More Made It Myself Mondays!

I decided I had more goodies to share so here I am!

This is a box I made for my daughter's birthday.  Made it originally to keep doll clothes in but so far it gets to hold just about everything but the doll clothes.  Her birthday party had a rock star theme so I used some of the napkins from the party to decoupage this box!  Enjoy!

Made It Myself Monday #4

Good morning friends!  How is everyone?  Good, I hope!

Well, here is my new post for Made It Myself Mondays.  It's another Treasure Box Designs Bottle Cap design.  I've been having SO MUCH FUN with these things!  I found some great glass beads that have the necklace piece already drilled into them and have been creating away with them!  Enjoy!

new stuff coming soon

I've got a few new projects in the works- pics will be coming soon.  Treasure Box Designs recently put out more sets of their Bottle Cap designs and I purchased all the sets- lots of cute little images to play with!  Now to buy more ink so I can keep playing!  Still haven't finished the plastic canvas purse I've been working on but it's coming along!

So what is everyone else working on?  Any new creations to share?

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!

Made It Myself Monday #3

Necklaces.  Treasure Box Designs Bottle Caps are so cute that I couldn't wait to buy them and get started creating things with them!  Still coming up with more ideas- just can't create fast enough to use them all!  The top necklace was made with a wire writer and glittered sticky foam.  The lower image was made with a large button.  I am having fun creating with these TBD images! I can hardly wait for the next 3 sets to be released!

Happy Crafting!
